Liverpool is a lakeside village in Onondaga County, NY. The name was adopted from the city of Liverpool in the United Kingdom. The village is on Onondaga Lake, in the western part of the town of Salina and is northwest of Syracuse, of which it is a suburb.

Liverpool Central School District – Liverpool has a long history of providing an excellent educational environment for nearly 7,300 students, of which 84 percent pursue higher education. Liverpool Fire Department – Responding to nearly 2,000 calls per year, the Liverpool Fire Department primarily responds to the Town of Salina, Village of Liverpool, and mutual aid districts. Amongst the call volume is a wide array of calls that range from structure fires, to EMS, car accidents, and water rescues. The Liverpool Fire Department operates out of three stations which each house a specialty vehicle/service.
